Anatomy, Dissection and Tissue Culture Workshop for Public Education
Participants learn the fundamentals of animal anatomy, dissection techniques and the fundamentals of tissue culturing that are used to investigate specimens. Revealed are the unseen fleshy textures that lie beneath the skin. Workshops like this are held in an open forum setting with orientation to the history of artists in the scientific field. Further discussion, while manipulating different forms of tissue, included the evolution of arts practices in relation to scientific progress.
